The Pixel Project recently interviewed Femili PNG’s Port Moresby Operations Director, Konnie Yoifa, about her work with survivors of FSV.

The Pixel Project is a virtual, volunteer-led NFP that aims to raise awareness, funds, and volunteer power to end violence against women. They focus on developing a strong and consistent online presence for campaigns and news about gender-based violence around the world to a global online community.

Konnie Yoifa, who manages both the Bel isi PNG case management centre (CMC) and safe house, has been working with Femili PNG since 2014 and moved to Port Moresby from Lae when operations were set up there in 2019. Both the CMC and safe house in Port Moresby are operated by Femili PNG.

In the interview, Konnie speaks about Femili PNG’s work and expansion into Goroka, as well as the direction of future campaigns in PNG to address FSV.
