ANU students fundraise for Femili PNG
On 6th October 2016, Australian National University's oldest residential college, Bruce Hall, ran a mock beauty pageant to raise money for Femili PNG. The aim of the event was to diminish stereotypes on women’s physical appearance through a male-only-contestant beauty pageant with female judges and host.
Femili PNG and partners promote child safety
Mymie is a four-year-old girl who is attending school in West Taraka, which locals consider one of the most dangerous suburbs in Lae, Papua New Guinea. Every day, she walks 45 minutes from home to school. During the recent Child Safety Day supported by Femili PNG and other partners, Mymie and her mother learned about basic safety rules, potential risks and child rights principles.
Femili PNG celebrates two years of collaboration in Lae

Soldiers give to Femili PNG
Australian Defence Force soldiers stationed in Lae for a six-week training exercise have donated K2,300 to Femili PNG. The members of the 3rd Combat Engineering Regiment (3 CER), who were participating in Exercise Puk Puk at Igam Barracks, raised the money through several activities.
