Evan Bieso is Femili PNG’s Case Work Manager. She is a nurse by profession and had over 11 years of experience in this field. She started out working as a nurse in private clinics until 2008 when she was employed by Medicins San Frontiers – MSF – as a Mental Health Counsellor. In 2010, Evan was promoted to Mental Health Supervisor with MSF, a position she held for 4 year before joining Femili PNG.

Evan is a Papua New Guinean woman from East Sepik Province and currently resides in Lae with her husband and 4 children. In 2015, she joined Femili PNG as a Case Worker where she performed tasks such as crisis debriefing, crisis management, safety planning, rights based counselling and assisting with coordination among family and sexual violence service providers in Lae. In 2016, Evan was promoted to Case Work Manager.
