Femili PNG employs a team of dedicated Papua New Guinean staff at its Case Management Centre in Lae. Read more about our team below.

Elsie is a Case Worker. She has been with the organization since July 2014. She is a nurse by profession, and previously worked for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) as a Mental Health Counselor. She is married with two children.

Betty is a Case Worker. She has been with the organization since October 2014. She has previously worked with village courts and in the Justice system, as well as in the fields of Child Protection. She has four children and five grandchildren.

Elly is a Case Worker. She had started with the organization as a Support Worker in August 2015. She has also worked for MSF as an Outreach Officer for 3 years in Lae and Port Moresby.

Joyce is a Case Worker. She has been with the organization since December 2016. She’s a graduate Social Worker from the University of Papua New Guinea and has a background in teaching. She is married with a child.

Karen is a Case Worker. She joined the organization in August 2017. She’s a graduate Social Worker from the University of Papua New Guinea and recently relocated to Lae with her family.

Thelma is our Child Protection Officer. She has been with the organization since May 2016. She’s a graduate Social Worker from the University of Papua New Guinea. Before her employment with Femili PNG, she worked as a Pediatric Social Worker at the Port Moresby General Hospital for two years.

Konnie is our Training Coordinator. Previously she was our Child Protection Officer and has been with the organization since October 2014. She is a Nurse by profession and also studied Counseling at the University of Goroka. She had previously worked as a Nurse and Mental Health Counsellor with MSF. She is married and has three children.

Joan is our Information Officer and has been with the organization since July 2014. Previously, she worked for MSF as a Registrar. Her favorite hobbies are playing sports, listening to music and cooking.

Jonica is our Communications and Fundraising Officer. She started with the organization in March 2017. She graduated from the University of Papua New Guinea, majored in Journalism and Public Relations, and minored in Social Work. She previously worked as an External Liaison Officer with KMK Limited and did her cadet news training with EMTV 2013.

Josephine is Femili PNG’s Administrator and also assists with HR. She has been with the organization since July 2014. She recently graduated with a Certificate in Accounting from ITI. She is married and has four daughters. Josephine previously worked for MSF in various positions such as Cleaner, Registrar and as an Administrative Assistant handling Human Resources and bookkeeping.

Pauline is our Administrative Assistant. She started with the organization as a Support Worker in July 2014. She has previously worked in hotels as a house keeper. Pauline has three children and is working to support them as a single mother.

Limbart is a Support Worker and has been with the organization since July 2014. Earlier she worked for MSF as a Guard and a House Cleaner. She is married with three children.

Georgina is a Receptionist/Support Worker. She is responsible for registering and assisting clients. She has been with the organization since 2016. Georgina is married with four children.

Anderson is currently the Security, Logistics and Admin Officer and also works as a back-up Driver. He started with the organization as a Driver in 2014. Previously, he worked for MSF as a relief driver. He is married and has five children.

David is a Driver. He joined the organization early in 2017. He was previously a driver for MSF. David is married and has four children.

Peter is a Driver. He started with the organization as a relief driver early in 2017.

Kingsley is our Guard. He joined the organization in March 2017. Previously, he worked as a Guard with Sayo Security in Lae. He is married with four children.

We also have an In-house Lawyer who provides legal advice and assistance to our clients, staff and service providers. She has over 20 years in court room advocacy experience, has a degree in Law from the University of Papua New Guinea and a Masters from the University of Canberra in Australia.
